Friends & Family Fund for Southeast Fort Wayne

The goal of the Friends & Family Fund for Southeast Fort Wayne is to fill the gap of 'I'm betting on you' risk capital that is largely absent in Southeast Fort Wayne due to lower wealth and income concentration. We know that while financial resources might be fewer, the innovations, ideas and solutions are just as profound! The fund will be able to make grants, investments, and loans to BIPOC* led nonprofits and mission aligned for profits in Southeast Fort Wayne. All funding decisions will be made by leaders and representatives living and working in Southeast Fort Wayne. The fund will be run using the Power Moves Framework -- devoted from day one to sharing power with the community the fund is designed to support.
