Jewelry Storage

Store your jewelry in a dry location and avoid water, creams, oils, perfumes, and humid areas (like bathrooms).

Brass

Due to the nature of brass, it will patina with time. Some people love it and others prefer the shine of new brass. If you prefer the new brass look, wipe it down with a soft cloth after wearing.

Insect Wings

Although the wings are sealed they remain susceptible to bending. Be sure to keep your pieces in an area that they can lay flat. When cleaning the sealed wings, use a soft cloth or toilet paper and gently polish in a circular motion.

Leather

Leather is a soft natural material that has a memory to it. Make sure to keep your pieces in a flat area where they will not form folds. 

Lucite

Acrylic and Lucite pieces have a fragile surface to them that can be scratched with rough paper towels. To clean, use a soft cloth or toilet paper and lightly polish in a circular motion.

Skateboards

Skateboards are made of wood which is a natural material and very durable. All Skate jewelry has been sealed with a clear coat but do not clean them with harsh chemicals.  

Shipping

We are a small shop, and we work hard to make and ship your items as quickly as possible. 

Shipping Policy

We do our absolute best to ship out in-stock items within 5 days of purchase. Certain items are made-to-order and will be shipped within 10 days of the order. We always ship through USPS. If you need your item by a specific date please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate. 

Ship Time & Tracking Information

All orders are carefully packaged for USPS shipping. You will receive tracking information once your package has shipped (not after your purchase). In stock items ship within 3-5 days and made-to-order items ship within 2 weeks of your purchase.

Please Note: During online sales, holidays, or peak sales times, it may take a little longer. I will always do my best to keep within the time frame above. Thank you for your patience with our super small business. 

In-Store Pick Up

Customers purchasing items for in-store pick up will receive a notification email when pieces are ready. Pick up times are discussed and mutually agreed upon between the HEDGE and the customer.

Rush Orders 

If you need something to arrive by a specific date, please send a message with your preferred delivery date after your order has been purchased. We're happy to try to accommodate your needs!

International (including Canada) Customers

Your packages are also shipped within the above time frame. If your package is held up in customs the duration of your delivery will take longer. International buyers are solely responsible for any and all duties or taxes.

Your Shipping Address

Please review your address during checkout. If your order is lost or returned to us because of an incorrect address, we are unable to refund the cost until the order is back in our possession. Sometimes USPS can take several weeks to return an item shipped to the wrong address.

Lost or Stolen Packages

The HEDGE is not responsible for lost or stolen merchandise through the shipping process unless additional shipping insurance has been purchased by the buyer. Please contact me for rates. We will do my best to make things right if this happens!

Recycle

We love Mother Nature so please remember to recycle! The HEDGE reuses shipping materials as much as possible. Consider recycling or reusing the shipping materials that your jewelry is shipped in.

Repairs and Returns

Repairs

We can definitely repair your jewelry purchased from the HEDGE. You have up to 30 days to report any defect or breakage in a piece. Please contact the HEDGE by email at thehedgestudios@gmail.com in case such sadness occurs. If the piece is faulty or damaged from my own error, we will fix the piece at no cost to you. If the damage was an accident on your end, the repair cost is dependent on the part in need of replacing or repair. We also repair older pieces that have been damaged through lots of wear and tear.

Returns

We do not accept returns unless items arrive damaged. Once your item is delivered you must contact us by thehedgestudios@gmail.com within 10 days for an exchange or refund. We provide a full refund on damaged items. Custom orders are not returnable. If there is a problem with your order, please send us a message and we can try to work it out!
